An Evidence-Based

Social Health Curriculum

The Impact of a

Social Health Curriculum

“I met some cool people in the class. They were going through a tough time similar to mine, and that's what made us connect and grow stronger together. And to embrace our past and to be a better version of ourselves. And that's what I loved most about the class.”

-Jesus, former student

Level-Up focuses on teaching students How to Build, Maintain, and Improve relationships in four areas. Friends, Family, Online Relationships, and The Relationship with Self

  • Friends

We teach students how to make new friends, develop deeper connections with current friends, and conflict resolution Social Health tools.

  • Family

We teach students how to communicate better with their parent/guardian, their role in their family, and Social Health tools to improve the relationships at home.

  • Online Relationships

We teach students how social media affects mental health, how social media companies make money on an attention-for-profit model, and how to use social platforms as a way to enhance face-to-face relationships instead of replacing them.

  • The Relationship W/ Self

We teach students Social Health personality development tools to improve the relationships students have with themselves. We also teach Social Health tools to help students learn how to coach themselves and be a friend with themselves instead of being a critic.
